2019-20 Champions League pots updated: Who Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham & Chelsea may face

2019-20 Champions League
The draw for the 2019-20 Champions League group phase is on the horizon.
There’s one round of qualifiers remaining before the 32 clubs in the Champions League draw are confirmed.
On Tuesday night, some big names crashed out the competition.
Celtic lost to CFR Cluj, Basel were beaten by LASK, while Porto suffered a shock exit to Russia club Krasnodar.
Ajax, last season’s Champions League semifinalists, narrowly squeaked past PAOK to advance in the qualifiers.
Champions League: Final round of qualifiers
There are six play-off ties remaining in the Champions League qualifiers.
Those matches are as follows.
20 & 28 August
CFR Cluj (ROU) v Slavia Praha (CZE)
APOEL (CYP) v Ajax (NED)
LASK (AUT) v Club Brugge (BEL)
21 & 27 August
GNK Dinamo (CRO) v Rosenborg (NOR)
Young Boys (SUI) v Crvena zvezda (SRB)
Olympiacos (GRE) v Krasnodar (RUS)
Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham & Chelsea
Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea will all compete in this season’s Champions League.
Chelsea have joined Man City and Liverpool in pot 1 for next season’s draw.
As for Spurs, they’ll be in pot 2 for the Champions League draw.

As things stand today, the 4 pots for the 2019-20 Champions League are as follows.
Note – if a team is in bold, that’s because their pot is guaranteed:
POT 1: Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester City, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Zenit St Petersburg
POT 2 (provisional): Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Napoli, Shakhtar Donetsk, Ajax/APOEL
POT 3 (provisional): Olympiacos/Krasnodar, LASK/Brugge, Lyon, Bayer Leverkusen, FC Salzburg, Valencia, Inter Milan, Cluj/Slavia Praha
POT 4 (provisional): Crvena zvezda/Young Boys, Dinamo Zagreb/Rosenborg, Lokomotiv Moscow, Genk, Galatasaray, RB Leipzig, Atalanta, Lille
